StepShot on GOTD - May, 2012

Imagine documenting and editing each step of a procedure until it reads perfectly, then combining it all together and exporting it as a document that’s available to everyone! It’s really that simple. It’s StepShot!

Create an explanation for your colleague on how to configure Outlook… or just a simple guide for your grandma on how to reach your photos on Facebook or Picasa. That’s more then simple!

Make it easier to delete history items. At present it seems that you can only delete them individually. Allow the user to drag and select deletions.

Install a shortcut to the desktop or at least give the option for selecting one during the installation wizard.

Thankfully there is one to be found in the Start Menu Programs list. till it would be nice to be given the option.

Include a shortcut key that enables the user access to the time interval settings (between captures) and create a slider so that you can adjust the time between captures rather than have set time intervals.

Create a histogram where you can undo and/or redo specific actions. would be a time saver

even the classic CTRL+Z function would be nice for undo.

Improve the help menu or at least include a dummies guide with links to video tutorials. The programs GUI seems overly complex and needs simplifying.

Enable users to access this program from a home network from a central location. And be able to access every computer on the home network so that you can capture from each one. That would be very useful if two or more friends or family were wor

With one being responsible for capturing the progress.
